i'm a wife, a soulmate, a bestfriend, a buddy, a lover to sonny... i feel great waking up each day with him by my side. i love being with him each day... it couldn't get any better than this! i can sleep all day long, with my blanket all over my body. I cry on the shallowest love story and laugh at the corniest joke. i only have few friends, but i keep them forever...

hello again, Baguio City... my second home!

It's been a while I haven't posted here. It feels great to be here in Baguio again! My second home indeed and I will never get tired going back here. So homey! Hubby loves to eat the one day old chick. We were at the night market at Harrison road last night. Freshly brewed coffee...hmmm... Super! Fresh fruits, fresh veggies, fog, cold air... It's heaven! Early morning, we walked down the session road and visit Baguio Cathedral. One of the best Saturday mornings I ever had. Thank you Lord! I may not always get what I ask (maybe not yet for this time), but You always have a way to make me happy. I will always be grateful that you gave me a wonderful partner in life, my better half.

Destinations: Manila-Roxas City-Iloilo-Boracay

It's been a while... i have been busy lately. Last month we went out of town with hubby and friends. We attended one of our friend's wedding in Iloilo and decided to make the most of it and we had some side trips.

With my convincing power, finally hubby said yes (because he fears to ride via airplane). I was so excited for our trip especially for hubby. Early moring of friday, January 30, we were already at the Terminal 3 airport and we landed at 10am in Roxas City. Its a nice place... Van, one of our friends is from here. I love their patutim, one of the best foods i wanna eat! We went to Panay and visited their church wherein they have the largest bells in Asia, third in the world.

After our visit to the Panay Church, we went to Iloilo to give our gifts to Shiela (the flowers for her entourage) that we bought from Dangwa. Such a nice place. They say that we have to take home butterscotch, biscocho for our pasalubong beacause it is one of their best delicacies... we also tried the Iloilo's pride, their La Paz Batchoy! We also visited one of the world heritage... the Miag-ao Church in Iloilo. We had our lunch in Tatoys, one of the famous outdoor restaurant in Iloilo... their grilled Bluemarlin's one of the best! Yummy! And the reason for all the reason why we were there in Iloilo is... Shiela's wedding. It went well... really love is in the air. I love their on site video, really nice. We had so much fun... pictures can't deny it. We also went to the smallville. A place for the young ones, and young at hearts. This is the place for music and gimiks! We went to MO2... dance dance dance...

After going out to the disco... we went to boracay. So much for the energy, can't believe how we reach Bora. Thanks to Redbull.

The paradise Island... ang Boracay.

Early morning, we have to go to Kalibo for our flight back to Manila. It was a wonderful and unforgettable experince. I wish that we can do it again some time. Hubby and I enjoyed our trip, and we will always treasure this moments together.

New Year! New Beginning! New Hope!

Welcome 2009!

I had a wonderful year 2008... it isn't perfect, there are trials, difficulties, it was a roller coaster ride but definitely made me more a better person. And blessings were countless! Thank God for a wonderful year...

Hubby and I spent the holidays together and enjoyed each others company. Most of the time were spent at home, cooking, eating, watching tv/dvd. We also meet some friends and had fun together... videoke and kwentuhan to the max!

But as the year starts, hubby got sick (tonsillitis and colds). I think it's because of the weather. Then after him, i got also sick. Huhuhu! And then my parents got amoebiasis and they were confined to the hospital. It was not a good start of the year but thank God we're all now doin' fine.

And now I'm back to work... It's good thing that i finished all the paper works before the Christmas break kaya hindi ako masyadong nabigla na pumasok sa office after a long vacation.

I wanted to start the year with a good positive outlook in life. I know that God listens to our heart's desires. And may this year be more brighter than the previous one and be a blessing to others life.

Cheers for 2009!

On being a wife

Mahigit 3 taon na kaming kasal ni hubby... ang bilis ng araw, well dahil nag-e-enjoy ako on being a wife. I never thought that life will be much greater... when i married my husband. Of course, life isn't at all perfect, there are ups and downs, there are fights and arguments but then, from there we learn from each other, we embrace each others imperfections, and i guess this all about loving unconditionally.

Pakiramdam ko kasi ay hindi ako makahinga when we are facing each other. At weird daw ako kasi lagi akong nakakumot kahit mainit.

2. May ka-argue ako sa umaga, hapon at gabi... I doesn't mean that we fight, healthy arguments naman kami. Everyday we learn from each other.

3. Going out with friends.

4. Parlor, shopping, at kakikayan. I can still look good to my husband without spending too much. I still treat myself, pero hindi na katulad ng dati. Kung sa pagsho-shopping noong dalaga pa ako would always include blouse, dress, shoes, and bags, ngayon ay bedsheets, curtains, kitchen wares at kung ano-anong gamit sa aming bahay.

5. Doing the household chores. One of the major responsibilties on being a wife. I always make it a point na maayos at malinis ang uuwian ng aking asawa. We share doing the household chores.

6. Financial matters, and household budgeting. Hubby and I always make a point to save, save, save for our future and for our future kids. I make sure that we spend our money wisely.

7. I'm no longer a princess but already a queen in the house. We stayed for a year at my parents house. As any new married couple, we have to adjust on everything. Okey naman ang lahat, my parents are happy that finally they have a son (wala kasi kaming kapatid na lalaki). But then, a year after we got married, hubby and i decided to have our own house (though for now it is just rented). Sa umpisa, akala ko mahirap kasi mas maraming responsibilidad, household chores, paying all the bills, etc. Hahaha! As in naho-homesick ako, so my hubby would usually drive me after work at my parents house (mga less than 5 minutes drive lang ito). Hahaha! Sa ngayon, i'm already used to it, being the queen in the house (hubby as the king of course). At higit sa lahat, hubby and i brought us closer to each other.

Isip pa ako, 'til my next post...

Starting my Christmas list for 2008

BER months already... and quite excited for Christmas! I already made my Christmas list in an excel file for this year. Well, to avoid rushing for shopping Christmas gifts as well wrapping them. I made my list with categories: family, friends, officemates, inaanaks, as well as hubby's inaanaks and officemates. So it will be easy to check and do the budgeting. I hope to fill my gift BOX!

I am thinking on Christmas gift ideas... maybe personalized ones and not that pricey. I also wanted to start decorating our home sweet home next month. Hopefully we can buy our Christmas tree this year since for the past years we don't have one, only Christmas wreaths, throw pillows and stuff toys.

Sea Shells!

Hubby and i went to the beach early sunday morning... Oh it's refreshing! I woke up at 5am to prepare our breakfast so we can bring and have our breakfast along the beach. I prepared corned beef with lots of onions and garlic, fried rice, fresh fruits and packed it in our food keeper. Hubby prepared other stuffs that we needed (sunblock lotion, mat, towels, and clothes).

That were two families that were already there swimming. The kids were enjoying... i caught myself fondly watching them with their father... Oh here I am again wishing... to have kids. Hubby and I decided to eat first our breakfast before swimming.

Swim...swim...swim... while my hands are on hubby's back, hindi ako marunong lumangoy! Hehehe! So sad that I live near the beach pero hindi ako natutong lumangoy.

We saw the fishers passing by with their families helping each other. I told hubby that we buy fish or shells for our lunch later with those fishers. Sea shells are one of my favorites! Though it's time consuming picking it inside the shells, it doesn't matter... kasi masarap talaga! Hubby asked the fishers if we can buy the sea shells. Hubby asked them to give us worth P40. Oh my, to our surprise, ang dami pala ng forty pesos... halos kalahating sako ng bigas! Naawa tuloy kami ni hubby na sa ganoong kadami ay forty pesos lamang... with all their sweats sa pagkuha nun.

We just ride with our motorcycle going to the beach... at hindi namin alam kung pano namin dadalhin ang aming biniling sea shells (its locally called didila here in our place).

Hubby cooked it with tamarind! Yummy! And we enjoyed our lunch together, and had our dvd marathon afterwards. Sundays are always been happy moments for me and hubby.
